"It was with some trepidation that we made the journey with my new play called Day of Days. Rehearsals have been a bit thin due to work commitments and holidays, to such a degree that the performance in the festival was the first time we had done it with a set! However we overcame the nerves and received an excellent adjudication from Mike Kaiser GoDA which resulted in four awards including runners-up and adjudicators’ award as well as five other nominations.
This was the first performance of this script which went much better than we expected which bodes well for future performances. The audience loved it and were very complimentary and we would like to extend our thanks to the organisers for their warm welcome and help throughout our stay. The post festival buffet was first class and the bar very welcome! Loose Cannons now look forward to taking the play to the Isle of Man festival in February 2012".
